Verizon Com Fiostv Self Install

Verizon's FiOS Internet and TV service has the potential to be a threat to cable broadband service providers. The main appeal of FiOS is a fiber optic line directly to the home. Was to install. Verizon Fios installation is professional and reliable. For existing properties, Verizon Fios technicians will: Install the fiber hub and terminals to accommodate all living units. Set up and test TV service, and demonstrate basic Fios TV functions.

Pragmata pro download. So I apologize for asking this - as I see others have asked similar questions.

I'm moving to a new apartment this week that has previously had FIOS installed and activated. I'm starting a new account in my name (internet only) - don't want to rent a Verizon router - and want to use my own.

While I've seen some folks say I need to activate service with a Verizon router - I've seen others say this isn't true. I know I'll have to call Verizon to have them activate the ethernet as opposed to the COAX line regardless.

Does anyone know the answer for this? I'm thinking since service has already existed at the location I may not need to rent their router for the first month.

Verizon Fios Tv Self Install

I have been using Verizon fios under my cousins name and account. He moved out last week and cancelled his services but he left me his router we were using and nothing Fios related has been moved or tampered with. I was there when we first had Fios installed in July 2017. The tech used a Verizon router (G1100?) to activate our internet and we returned it after a week and swapped in our Netgear AC1900 Nighthawk router. Can I use my AC1900 Nighthawk router to activate my services or do I need to change my order from Self-Install-Kit to calling in a technician?
